“In terms of market, within Southeast Asia, our key focus for now is:
- B2B businesses mainly in Singapore, as this is the most advanced market for B2B due to the high concentration of SME and enterprise customers, relevant talents required, etc.
- We are also open to looking at some B2C opportunities strategically in Indonesia, Vietnam, and other countries, as the nature of the startup ecosystem in these countries is more B2C-driven. In fact, Vietnam would be a country where our team will spend much more time and resources in 2020 and 2021, and we are flexible to look at different sectors and business models. Ultimately we want to back exceptional entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia, so we can be rather flexible when great opportunities arise, for a portion of the portfolio.“
