The Singapore-based cashback app has established a strong online standing with 30 million users across 9 markets. It’s now trying to ramp up through its BNPL service hoolah and offline expansion. But cashback earning is far from an everyday habit for many.
“The three steps of a consumer journey have been important to ShopBack. Discovering new products and new brands, shopping in a very easy way and paying in the most effective way. And doing that with the ShopBack platform would enable shoppers to get additional cashback on top of the prices they could get with online merchants or at any physical stores,” Heang Chhor, founder and managing partner of ShopBack investor Qualgro Partners, told The Ken.
