Heang Chhor

Heang is the Founder and Managing Partner of Qualgro (2015). He has led many investments in data/AI and SaaS at Seed to Series B and has helped our portfolio companies grow regionally and globally. He has supported many companies on their fund raising and for realizing exits, through an extensive network of investors and international companies.

His records include investments into 3 unicorns, several full-exits including 1 IPO and 3 acquisitions by international players.

He was previously a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company (26 years) and a member of the McKinsey Global Board, with many years of experience in Europe and Asia. Before and during McKinsey, he was an entrepreneur building a series of companies. Deep business experience and networks in Consumer, Retail/e-commerce, Banking/Fintech and Technology.

Weisheng Neo

Weisheng is a Partner at Qualgro, with a focus on SaaS, FinTech, and EdTech. He currently leads the investment team. He has led several investments into regional, market-leading companies including EngageRocket, ErudiFi, Convosight, and Accredify.

Prior to Qualgro, he led an EdTech startup in Southeast Asia, and also worked at Alibaba Group in China. He previously worked in strategy at Parthenon Group in India and Singapore. Weisheng holds a BAcc from Singapore Management University, and a Wharton MBA.

Peter Huynh

Peter is a Venture Partner at Qualgro, actively contributing to our firm since 2015, and has led investments in SaaS, data, AI, marketplaces and B2C tech. He is a Board Director at Brighte, Curious Thing and Hevo Data, and helps Qualgro portfolio companies with international expansion and product/business/talent development.

Peter is currently Chief Strategy Officer at Harrison.ai, and was previously Director at Singtel Innov8, the corporate VC arm of Singtel Group. He has 20+ years experience working in Asia, Australia, and globally with tech companies, in business development and product.

Olivier Sibony

Olivier is a Senior Advisor and Investment Committee Member based in Paris, and has been involved in every Qualgro investment since 2015. He regularly travels to Asia, and interacts with entrepreneurs and co-investors in the region.

Olivier is a Professor, a well-known writer and consultant specializing in ‘strategic thinking and decision-making processes’. He was a Senior Partner at McKinsey (more than 20 years) with experience in Europe and the United States. He has served clients in private equity, venture capital, healthcare and consumer sectors, and sits on the advisory boards of several companies.

Natasha Eu

Natasha leads Investor Relations, Finance and Operations at Qualgro, and oversees portfolio management, compliance and audit-related activities.

Natasha previously worked at Morgan Stanley and has held senior roles at fund management firms. She holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Bradford and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

Carlos Camacho

Carlos is an Investment Manager at Qualgro, and is involved across the entire investment process, working with portfolio companies in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Singapore and the Philippines.

Prior to Qualgro, Carlos was the Head of Investments Development at Fundnel, Southeast Asia’s largest private investment platform. He previously worked at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Carlos holds a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Badai Tanmizi

Badai is an Investment Manager in Qualgro with a focus in areas such as AI, robotics, data, SaaS, lending, MedTech and marketplaces. He has led diligence processes and manages portfolio companies in Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe, with a focus on Indonesia.

Prior to Qualgro, Badai worked in innovation consulting, operations and research roles - in Singapore and New York, where he worked in a tech startup incubator. He graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Jeremy Soh

Jeremy is an Associate at Qualgro, and has worked on technology investments across multiple industries, particularly in HealthTech and MedTech. He works across the investment process and portfolio management, with a focus on Southeast Asia.

Prior to Qualgro, he worked in investment roles in a global MedTech Corporate VC, and a Tech-focused CVC in Israel. Jeremy holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.

Anqi Chen

Anqi has worked on investment and due diligence analysis in areas such as enterprise SaaS, data, edtech and other B2B spaces across various industry sectors, with a focus on Southeast Asia.

Prior to Qualgro, Anqi worked in investment roles in private equity, and in public equity at a sovereign wealth fund. She had previously worked in Shanghai at a corporate venture capital arm of a private equity group. Anqi graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Accountancy, and a minor in Translation.

Madeline Wee

Madeline leads Special Projects at Qualgro, driving the conceptualisation and implementation of diverse initiatives ranging from ESG integration, to organisation development and value creation at Qualgro and its portfolio companies.

Experiences prior to joining Qualgro include business development, partnerships and client services at a FinTech startup, and education regulation policy with the Singapore Government. Madeline graduated with a BA from University College London.

Olivier Carnohan

Olivier is a Senior Technology and Business Advisor with Qualgro. He has over 25 years of experience in building digital businesses as a co-founder, and as an angel investor, and has worked in the US, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia.

Olivier co-founded and ran the Singtel - Softbank Joint-Venture. He was also the Intrapreneur Lead of the Emerging Business Development unit at Singtel Group Enterprise and the Senior Director of the eBusiness team at Singtel Group. Olivier co-founded and exited Nessa Hearing, and is an angel investor for a few Asian startups that he has advised and exited from.

Chi Tran

Chi Tran is a Senior Technology Advisor for Qualgro, and has provided support on SaaS, Data, AI and Blockchain related investments, over the past years.

He is the Chief Product Officer for Liquid Group (Crypto exchange) and was previously Regional CTO for OgilvyOne (WPP Group agency), and he has experience in enterprise software, solution architecture. Chi has held technology roles at IBM, Computer Sciences Corporation, and 3G Australia. He has extensive experience in mobile, cloud, and blockchain.
